Grab your boots and book!October 3, 2024 at 6 pmFrances Spatz Leighton Nature & Learning Center at Thompson Ledge ParkJoin us for a short hike as we discover Thompson Ledge Park, a true hidden gem, followed with coffee and conversation. First 10 registrants receive a free coffee mug at the Boots and Books Club in October.
The Geauga and Portage SWCDs present a free Pond Clinic biannually. Topics covered at this two-hour workshop may include fish stocking and management, aquatic vegetation identification, nutrient management, and wildlife issues.

Geauga SWCD offers Livestock Environmental Assurance Program (LEAP) and Equine Environmental Assurance Program (EEAP) training sessions. Livestock producers meet eligibility requirements for cost share available through local Soil and Water Conservation Districts. Attendees also earn valuable points used in determining qualifiers for the EQIP program administered by USDA/NRCS.
