District Technician

Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District seeks a qualified individual for a full time (40 hrs/week) position as District Technician. The position will be responsible for conducting construction site inspections and occasional plan reviews to determine compliance with Geauga County Water Management and Sediment Control Regulations and Ohio EPA Construction General Permit. This position will also be providing landowner technical assistance on land issues ranging from drainage, erosion, stream management, pond management and general natural resource evaluations on property. The individual in this position will also assist with the Agricultural and Silvicultural Pollution Abatement Program and assisting the County and associated Townships as necessary in ensuring compliance with their Ohio EPA NPDES MS4 Permit.
